WSOP Champ – How’d he cheat?
The last poker champ that didn’t cheat was Robert Varkonyi. It seems a shame that year after year the winner has got there by cheating and nothing is being done about it. Let’s look at the list. Let’s start with the two most obvious cheaters.
Jamie Gold – Remember him flipping over his cards an even telling a friend what cards he had with “top-top”. All of these antics are breaking the rules.
Jerry Yang -Â While it’s not against the rules, getting God to help bending the rules a bit. I’ve tried this but I think at this point, God doesn’t take calls from me anymore.
Joe Hachem – Australia? A country made of criminals? Does more need to be said?
Greg Raymer -Â Remember those glasses? Hey, those are legal? WRONG. Those glasses had special hypnotizing powers. These should have been confiscated as soon as the tournament was over.
Chris Moneymaker – Please, a unknown named Moneymaker winds just when poker is getting popular? Please . . . Have you seen him play since? Come on now, how dumb to you think we are!
And now we have a new champ, Peter Eastgate. I was hoping it was the Russian guy because a cold war connection is fit into my theory of everyone cheating. The only think I can thing of it the WSOP is so tired of Phil Hellmuth they wanted someone be beat his record of youngest player. At least that’s one less thing he can brag about!
