Layla Kaleigh leaves World Poker Tour

Hello hello

For the third freakin year in a row, the WPT has fired it’s hostess. What is wrong with these guys that a) they can’t find anyone and b) they can’t find anyone who knows poker? My advice bring back Sabina Gadecki.

Blink and you missed it. That might best describe Layla Kaleigh’s brief tour of duty as host of the World Poker Tour.

Wicked Chops poker blog reported on Monday that Kaleigh might be leaving the show and it was later confirmed through a statement from the WPT that the sassy Brit was going another direction.

WSOP Final Table Delay Format

ESPN to Televise Enhanced Two-Day World Series of Poker Final Table Format on November 11

May 1, 2008 — ESPN’s exclusive coverage of the 2008 World Series of Poker® Presented by Milwaukee’s Best Light will feature a new enhanced format for the Final Table.

The final nine players of the Main Event (the $10,000 World Championship of No-Limit Texas Hold’em) will compete on November 9-10 instead of the originally scheduled date of July 16. ESPN will televise coverage of the Final Table in a two-hour program on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 9 p.m. ET

Jamie Gold WSOP footage to be auctioned off

Rae Valentine, a Los Angeles videographer who followed Jamie Gold at the 2006 WSOP Main Event, has announced on a new Web site that he will auction his footage on eBay later this summer.
