Ok, so the other day I made a short video for youtube after I saw the headline about Aniston, Jolie, and Pitt (see yesterdays post). It’s  beyond my comprehension that people even worry about this crap.

This morning I went to see if there was any comments on my short video. There wasn’t. But I did notice another short film called “Aniston vs. Jolie”. It was a series of images of the three of them with music playing. I think the video was supporting one of the two women, but I really couldn’t watch to much without feeling I need a shower.

Anyway, what really was disturbing was the 601 comments! These were not just comments, but a tooth and nail fight over who is “right” in the battle of spoiled celebrity’s. What’s wrong with these people?

And Aniston is a no face bland dull person, and I will prefer whoever I want. And it kinda looks like Anistons own husband agreed with me.”

“Well, everybody don’t think that Angelina is gorgeous. Don’t get me wrong in some shots and some times she can look really gorgeous, beautiful, or stunning but not all; especially in wild days. Please, tell me how do know any man with all go for Angelina. Please! No, I don’t think that him & Angelina are best suited. No! Him & Jen were really good; though. Out of all the people, I think that Angelina should have been last.”

I could go on and one. There are so many things in the world to talk about and this crap is what people worry about? I hope these are just silly high school kids with too much time on there hands, but I fear that some adults are involved as well.  And You’ll have to excuse me if I have any mis-spelled words, I can’t really spellcheck with the comments I copied from youtube.

I saw this and I started to laugh. I guess when your Rich and in the public eye for so many years, you revert back to a high school mentality. If this interests you, please seek help. The things in life to worry about in life are your family, you security, even the fate of the planet, but not these people.

This is a story on Reuters Movie News. I haven’t seen this film, Tropic Thunder, and I don’t know if it really deserves protest or not but don’t this advocates realize that are giving the film FREE PUBLICITY? Don’t they understand that what the studio wants? Why do you think the studio isn’t making changes? Do you think it’s because they have integrity? IT’S HOLLYWOOD people. This is a town that was ready to burn all prints of Citizen Kane to make William Randolph Hearst happy. It’s free advertising for the film! Every city they protest in will be featured on the news. It’s a free commercial for the movie. Hell, even The Threshold of Pain is writing about it!

I mean, you wouldn’t want to work on a cure for cancer or diabetes or something!

This is all we need, a bunch of lazy people who look like Arnold Schwarzenegger or Buffy Lawrence watching attention starved people on “reality” TV making jerks of themselves just be be famous.

Schadenfreude - Satisfaction or pleasure felt at someone else’s misfortune.

It all started with the Real World and then Survivor. Soon the networks realized that the mass viewing public love watching others being exploited and humiliated and that was no shortage of people who have no problem being exploited and humiliated, as long as they are on television. The best part for the network; these shows are extremely inexpensive to make.

I won’t go much into the term “reality” except to say that if you think with cleaver editing to stereo type people and the fact these pseudo-celebrities know the camera’s on 24 hours a day is it still reality, I’ve got some land to sell you.

Thirty years earlier, a fellow named Chuck Barris was chastised for his exploitation of people who wanted nothing m0re than a little attention. I guess that kind of behavior is all right now.

Over that last seven or eight years, I keep thinking reality shows have his rock bottom and can’t possibly get any worse. With Temptation Island , I thought people’s voyeuristic appetite can’t be that bad? There were people I worked with that were almost giddy with the excitement over who slept with who. That had to be the bottom of the reality phenomenon, right? How wrong can I be?

I just saw in ad for a show called Hurl. At first glance, the ad seemed so ridiculous that I assumed it was some sort of parody. I kept waiting for the punchline, or the real product to show up, like that ad for a show called Tiny House that was really an ad for insurance. Not so here I’m afraid.

Hurl is a “game-show” in which contestants eat as much as they can and then must do a bunch of stunts designed to make them vomit. The one that can do this stuff without vomiting is the “Iron Stomach Champion”. The example the G4 website gives is riding a mechanical bull after eating franks and beans. Now that’s entertainment! I hear this was a Internet thing turned into a T.V. show. I’m sure if you go to YouTube you could find some videos. I should, for researching this article, view a few examples but I really can’t bring myself to. I really have no desire to see someone vomit.

I know “different strokes” and all that, but . . . come on now!

I really don’t know what to day to this . . . It’s just a sad, sad world .

If you’ve bought a magazine, or watched TV, or gone on the internet, to learn and see these babies, get help.

I saw this is Yahoo the other day. Why is this news? And why is there a Poll on the Baby’s name. This is just another example of how insane the world has become. Why would anyone care?

And how long until this child is splitting time between her divorced parents. Maybe these two will be together for ever, but I’m just using past history.

Just joking. I think I’m going to start of “Scum of the Earth” list and Mr. Ricardo Gonzalez, 35, of Midlothian, IL, you made the list.

“Pleasure is directly related to not thinking. Animals don’t think, they just do.” is a line from a Las Vegas commercial.

While it is true Animals don’t think, they do get caught in traps, shot by hunters, and get eaten by other animals. What is Vegas really saying about themselves?

I’d like to state right away that I have been to Vegas and had a good time. I am a poker player. But an insulting commercial is an insulting commercial.

I’ve seen those commercials for responsible gambling in which “ordinary people” tells us to set limits and only gamble what we can afford. Let me know if I’m wrong, but doesn’t “Don’t think about it, just do it.” completely a contradicting statement. Don’t worry about you bills, home, job, kids or spouse! Jump on an airplane right now and gamble you money away. DON’T THINK ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES! ANIMALS DON’T!

Isn’t “not thinking” what gets people in to credit card trouble? Doesn’t a cheating spouse for excuse is, “I just wasn’t thinking?” I want everyone to realize, we think for a reason.”

I am the only one out there that understands how insulting ads like these are? Are Americans really ok with sitting at home and letting this junk pour out of their TV. Don’t think for a minute that you don’t pay attention so it doesn’t matter. These folks no exactly what they are doing. Why do you think they show the same commercial over and over and over, sometimes for years? Because even when you are not paying attention, it is sinking into your brain. You are slowing being brainwashed into thinking just the way they want.

And think about your kids who are getting the message “Don’t think about it, just do it.” On a daily basis!

This is the most read story on CNN today. Can I say one thing? WHO THE F**K CARE! They are just people who make too much money playing make believe. Up until the 20th century, acting where considered the lowest form employment in America. They are not royalty and they are not gods and they are no better than you.

WHY DO PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT THIS STUFF!

Stop it. Forget about them.
