Teen Wolf Coming to TV?

Yes, I will file this under the Creativity is Dead file. Some genius thinks it’s a good idea to make a Teen Wolf television show. You can read more at pajiba!

You know, I think Michael J. Fox is a great guy and his situation is not a very good one. He seems to be dealing with it as well as any human could. But to be hinest, Teen Wolf was not a very good movie.

Surely there is someone in Hollywood who has an original idea out there? I’d think that they could come uo with a better idea that a show about a teenager who turns into a werewolf.

The Tale of Timmy from Long Chevrolet

Way back, years ago, in 1980 Chicago, there was a car dealership called Long Chevrolet. As part of the advertising campaign, a young boy named Timmy was used as an old fashion newsboy. There were very obnoxious and, even as a young man, didn’t link them.

I had heard stories that this “Timmy” was a real spoiled brat, a pain in the butt when they were making these commercials. I have no idea if that is true,

Finnally, on one of the later ads, the kid get what he deserves. The rumor went around that he had no idea that this was going to happen. Anyway, this is just a little blast for years ago that I thought I would share.

I don’t watch either of these show. I’m only commenting on their commercials. How can each season be more exciting than the last? These guys are going their job, right? The only way it could be getting more exciting every year is if someone is writing this stuff. I don’t know, maybe they just are getting worse at their job. I mean, if these shows are just documenting their jobs, they can;t keep getting more exciting, can they? Does this mean that 10 or 15 years ago these jobs were the boring?

And Another Year Begins . . .

So I woke this morning with yesterdays hangover completely gone and looking forward to a wonderful new year. I’m watching the DYI network because this year I plan to get some of the things done that I have been planning for years. The kitchen that was never finished after the remodel, or the bathroom, which again, was never completely finished. So, being a guy who likes to do things himself, and can’t afford to pay anyone else to do it, I figure I should know how to do it right.

But on the first commercial break, I see something that is a clue that 2009 will be no better than 2008. It’s a Luna Floor Commercial!

This year I’ve already seen to new ones of these women who are almost humping the carpet! Is it me, or is this just insulting to, well, the whole human race? I mean, does anyone want to walk in and find there spouse rolling around on the floor like some animal in heat?

OMG! Now Vince Offer has another commercial! Not another one by the ShamWow guy! No . . . . .
