Back in January I post a video I had come across of an amazing stuntman. The old film was credited to a man named Arnim Dahl and I quickly made a post, lookingup more information on the man. You can read the post here.

A few days ago, I was cleaning up some old spam in my spam folder. For those of you who don’t know, blogs like mine use spam filters to keep all the crap and ads out of the comments section of post. Ideally, I go though those daily to make sure so real comments were put in the spam mix by accident. So, imagine my surprise when I can across this from John Ciampa jr.:

i am the son of the 1930 stuntman it is not 1930 it is 1942 it is a news reel he is not the german stuntman that is on the bridge and the tirer roll. he is the one climbing the school and the tree and kid on his back his name was john ciampa he was 21years old at the time his idols were tarzan-errol flynn-dougals fairbank.he was in news papers arcoss the country 1940s they called him the human fly or brooklyn tarzn thank you john ciampa jr.

he 1930 stuntman was my grandfather he was not the german stuntman arnim dahi his name was john ciampa he is the one climbing the school and the tree and the with the kid on his back it is a 1942 news reel his name was john ciampa the film is on eastern parkway brooklyn n.y he went arcoss time square on wire in a gorilla suit and climbed the hotel astor they called him brooklyn tarzan or humanfly.

There was also a few more by John Ciampa Jr. Are these comments real? How come I can’t find anything else about this stuntman anywhere? John, if you are out there, please provide me some moew information. I’d love to research this further.
