Blood Freak (1972)
There are a lot of films known to be the “worse of all time”, and I’m not going to sit here and tell you that Blood Freak is the worse, but if there was ever a voting, I might have to put this film on the ballot.
Written and directed by the team of Brad F. Grinter and Steve Hawkes. Steve, who plays the male lead, was the star of some Spanish Language Tarzan films before he made this “classic”. His doesn’t seem to have that great command of English, but than neither did Arnold Schwarzenegger. He does his best to look like Elvis, complete with sideburns and glasses.
Brad, was the director of a handful of films between 1970 and 1975 such as Flesh Feast (1970) and Barely Proper (1975). Brad plays the chain-smoking on-screen narrator of the film who is constantly looking down to read his lines. What does that say when the writer/director and narrator doesn’t even know his own lines.
The plot is simple, a man goes to work at a turkey farm owned by a mad scientist and ends up becoming a insain killer with the head os a turkey. Along the way he meets a pair of sisters, one is into Jesus and the other into drugs and sex.
This film is a must watch for anyone into bad films. It is truly a classic and get 5 out of 5 cheeses
