This week we decided to get the blues with Seth Walker, from the South by Southwest Website.  This is a catchy pop/blues song.

Seth Walker is a different point of blue in American music. His songwriting draws from the entire spectrum of the roots canon and infuses it with a wellspring of Southern soul. With influences ranging from T-Bone Walker, Tom Waits, and Nick Lowe, Seth’s music is at once contemporary and classic: it would feel just right hearing him between James Hunter and Ray Charles. Based out of Austin, Texas where he’s become a shining light in an already plentiful local scene, Seth made his recording debut in 1997 and is currently playing songs from “Leap of Faith,” his sixth CD, scheduled for release in February 2009 on Hyena Records. – SXSW Site
